Dr. Kaleigh Anstett ND, joined the Harmony Health team in the spring of 2023. As a Naturopathic Doctor, she aims to effectively diagnose, treat and support her patients as they progress towards a state of greater health.
Dr. Anstett began her training at the University of Guelph, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics. Following a brief year teaching English in South Korea, she completed her medical education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. During her clinical year, she gained valuable experience treating patients on the sports medicine rotation. In private practice, Dr. Anstett has continued to hone her skills as an integrative sports medicine practitioner. Currently, pain management techniques include a wide variety of injection techniques – prolotherapy, neural and peri-neural injection, in addition to cortisone or platelet-rich plasma injections as indicated (cortisone and PRP are currently only offered in British Columbia.) Dr. Anstett has also received advanced training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (not available in Alberta), orthomolecular medicine, nutrigenomics and gastrointestinal health. As an integrative practitioner, Dr. Anstett believes in supporting all aspects of a patient’s health and wellness, recognizing that mental, emotional and spiritual well-being contributes significantly to overall well-being. Deficiencies in one sphere often manifest physically, and often resolve only after all aspects of health are supported appropriately. Dr. Anstett encourages the use of specialized functional lab tests where appropriate, utilizing laboratories outside of Canada as needed. Areas of specialization include:
